me first, well, i love all the remaining rockers so it was fun fun fun to watch this episode.

storm jumping naked into the pool: hilarious.

toby rocking it writing with gilby: awesome.

lukas putting his makeup back on after the food fight: so funny.

magni making peace and getting lukas to take a song other than dilana's: feel the love.

dilana unfortunately didn't do anything funny or especially commendable. which is too bad. i genuinely feel sympathy for her -- she's coming down from a great height.

can't wait for tomorrow.

Did Dilana seriously say...

that she's heard only the Limpbizkit version of "Behind Blue Eyes"...
'cause that's just strange to me for a woman who claims to have been rockin' the majority of her adult life and not know The Who's version... 'cause seriously folks The Who's version has been played on every rock/classic rock station in the USA including Texas... so to me it's strange - imho...

Somebody needs to teach Dilana about metaphors. And I'm not ragging on her. She obviously doesn't get the poetic aspect of writing lyrics. A Lit101 class at a local community collage could do wonders.

Behind blue eye - country?!! What is she smoking?

And Magni - just because everything about Supernova is marinated in cliches doesn't mean that's what they're looking for (and if I was going to name top cliche-ridden bands in Iceland, Á móti sól would easily make the top 10. That's just the awful truth.) It may not be easy to escape them but it's awfully easy to spot them in other.

Just once - before all of this is over - I'd like to see Lucas without any make-up on. At the very least no lip gloss.

Geez, could everyone get over Lukas wearing make-up? Yes, he wears it. So what??? So have a lot of rockers, so do a lot of people, both male and female, straight or not straight. It's so not a big deal! I'm a professional make-up artist and I don't even want to keep discussing who wears make-up and who doesn't! Those who do wear it would probably also want to fix it if it got messed up. Can we move on?

I think the reason we focus on the makeup so much is that it IS so over-the-top. I believe that if you've got talent, you won't have to tart yourself up or put on a super-cocky attitude. Thus, if you do, you agree and know that you're not as talented as others, so you have to dress it up and add to it to make it equal. Storm has talent and she's confident, as well she should be. She doesn't have to add a bunch of extra crap. She lets her talent stand alone and speak for herself. I respect that about her. Ah, well. Just a theory of mine.

Okay, I finally got to watch this thing and I have to say...

Who wants CBS to give Storm, Magni, and Toby their own "Three's Company"-esque tv show??? No scripting -- just them hanging out, living together, and being 26 kinds of awesome. With special appearances by wacky neighbor Lukas!

Yay to:
Storm for being her usual amazing self, jumping in the pool naked, for "Ladylike," for her comments about being true to herself, and for just generally being a goddess.

Magni for starting the food fight, for de-fusing the song choice tension, for reminding us that not everyone in the world speaks English, for tripping on the invisible jump rope, and for just being a great human being.

Toby for getting a face full of cake, for having a great songwriting clinic, for having so much fun with everything, and for being damn sexy.

Lukas for letting them smash food in his face, for his careful makeup reapplication, for letting go of Behind Blue Eyes and having the guts to do Bon Jovi, and for dropping his drawers during double dutch.

I was going to be positive because I mostly feel sorry for Dilana at this point. But, at what point is it ever a good idea to say "f*ck you" to the fans? Seriously! It's ridiculous. And I'd be stunned if they felt like they could ignore it this time.

Ha! Dilana as a weeble-wobble thingie. Oh, God. That had me laughing so hard I nearly spewed my milk out of my nose.

I agree with pretty much everything, except I love Lukas even though hes an arrogant little diva. Or rather, I love Lukas BECAUSE hes an arrogant little diva. But I love how he does have those adorable little quirky and dorky if you will sides to him that pop up on camera every once in a while.
